Facts

“OSDUHS (Ontario Student Drug Use and Health Survey), an affiliate of CMHA (The Canadian Mental Health Association), reports that one-in-seven (15%) of high school students in Ontario (an estimated 115,000 in grades 9-12) reported symptoms of a drug use problem in a 2019 survey. There are less than 200 beds available throughout Ontario to accommodate this problem. This is in Ontario alone; nationally, this is a very serious problem.”
